Inventory Easy ~15 min to build

Hide sold-out products and bring them back on restock

Unpublish a product from your online store when every variant is sold out, and republish it the moment stock comes back.

Trigger: A variant goes out of stock, or comes back in stock.

What it does

  1. Workflow 1: when a variant sells out, check if all variants are at 0, then unpublish
  2. Workflow 2: when a variant is back in stock, publish the product again

How to build it

Shopify Flow Recommended

Trigger: Product variant out of stock (workflow 1); Product variant back in stock (workflow 2)

Conditions

  • Workflow 1: all of product.variants have inventoryQuantity less than or equal to 0

Actions

  1. Workflow 1: Unpublish product (from the Online Store channel)
  2. Workflow 2: Publish product (to the Online Store channel)

Shopify publishes a matching template: "Publish and unpublish products based on inventory level". Skip products you sell on pre-order.
